Porto, Portugal is so beautiful! The tile in the city is just stunning. We stayed at the Cathedral Design Apartments. We were steps away from the Dom Luis bridge and directly next to the Sé Cathedral. It was located in the heart of Oporto, the UNESCO world heritage site within Porto; the perfect location for us to walk everywhere and we did! So many hills in this city makes for walking off all of the yummy food we ate easy! We indulged in so many Natas, which to me tasted like a custard French Toast. So. Good! We were also very pleasantly surprised with the croissants! They tasted so much different than Paris croissants; much sweeter and equally as tasty! Our first morning there we had breakfast at Mercador Cafe and it was delicious. While we were there we took Olivia for a gondola ride above the water and had an awesome view of the port wine cellars and the city. We also took her on a tuk tuk ride to the ocean. The first day we were there we headed to a local market where we purchased some pieces for our kitchen and Stefan bought a couple bottles of port wine. The second day we spent touring and eating. Porto is my new favorite European city! Not counting Paris, of course! haha.
